The prestigious German magazine Hotel + Technik, focused on the hospitality industry, has dedicated a feature to the interior design of the nhow Frankfurt hotel. For this property, I executed a comprehensive art and design project where, through large-scale murals printed on walls, metal surfaces, and ceilings, I developed the hotel’s concept—”The Art of Money”—through my own creative vision. It is a Pop Art project full of irreverence, symbolism, and meaning.
Hotel + Technik
This report makes direct reference to my artistic work for the hotel, highlighting my murals for the guest rooms and suites. It features visual material of the artworks I created for the Junior Suites, Standard Rooms, and VIP Suites—spaces where I developed the “Art of Money” concept through pieces titled “The World Casino,” “The Money Circus,” and “Economic Powers.” These murals are high-impact, colorful visual compositions, rich in symbolism and allegorical details regarding money as both a concept and an “artistic” element in today’s capitalist society.
One of the challenges of my specialization as a spatial artist—and specifically in hospitality art—is that my works are rarely signed, nor do the hotels for which I create art typically promote me as the author of the artwork applied within the hospitality design project. For this reason, it is of great value when media outlets mention me directly or echo my participation in a project in some way.
It is an honor that the work developed for this specific project—one of the ones I feel most proud of—resonates in such a relevant publication within the European interior design sector as Hotel + Technik. This issue of the magazine can be purchased in digital or print format from their website.
