A Leading Hospitality Design Publication Highlights My Unique Profile as a Spatial Artist
The hospitality art I created for the nhow Amsterdam Rai hotel in the Netherlands—based on murals, large-scale visual works printed on floors and ceilings, vinyls, wallpapers, and textile designs—transcends the traditional concept of a hotel. It elevates the property to the level of “Hospitality 2.0,” where the hotel becomes a work of art in itself, standing as the ultimate context for Instagram influencers.
Since its opening in 2020, the nhow Amsterdam Rai has become a pilgrimage site for influencers from around the world passing through the city.
For some time now, I have been dedicating time to collecting some of the most creative images contextualized within my artworks. It is fascinating to see how the fusion of my art, the hotel’s interior design, and the fantasy evoked by influencers converge to create a new visual paradigm that transforms each setting and endows it with new meanings.
For me, these fusions demonstrate not only how art can transform the individual, but how the individual can also transform the art. The dialogue established between the person and the work, combined with spatial design as a backdrop, creates a conversation that emits sparks of creativity, illuminating and giving new meaning to the hotel through unique spatial storytelling.
I am delighted to share in this article a small selection of shots featuring influencers posing with the artistic work I created for the hotel. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
