The article about me and my work on the prestigious spanish magazine PROYECTO CONTRACT

A Leading Hospitality Design Publication Highlights My Unique Profile as a Spatial Artist

HOTEL DESIGN PROYECTO CONTRACT is the most prestigious magazine in Spain dedicated to hotel interior design and the wider hospitality sector. Edited by Casa Viva, this publication is a benchmark for industry professionals. For this reason, I consider it an honor that they have dedicated an article to my profile as a professional specializing in art for hotel interiors on page 9 of their 14th issue (September).

My profile is unique in Spain. Internationally, there are a few (very few) companies that provide art for hotels, but most are based on a model that subcontracts designers or artists, often lacking a defined personality or identity.

Today, there is no other professional in this country with my specific characteristics: a creator who serves as both a spatial artist and designer, executing art for every space—meaning I have created art for all guest rooms and public areas—for a dozen 4-star hotels across Europe.

My hospitality design work for walls and headboards has transformed:

  • The 650 rooms of the nhow Amsterdam Rai Hotel (designed by the celebrated architect Reinier de Graaf) in the Netherlands.
  • The 375 rooms of the nhow Frankfurt Hotel (designed by the iconic Rafael de la Hoz studio) in Germany.
  • The 260 rooms of the NH Collection Roma Vittorio Veneto Hotel.
  • The exclusive suites of the Grand Luxury category Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel in Italy.

Beyond transforming private spaces like hotel rooms, my work has extended to large-scale dimensions in public areas. I have created art that covers floors, ceilings, and columns—visual creations that join the architecture of each iconic hotel, establishing a fusion between spatial art, interior design, and architectural design that redefines 21st-century hospitality.

Additionally, I have created large-scale art for the restaurants and cocktail bars within these hotels, translating my disruptive creations into the context of next-generation dining.

The work carried out in recent years has allowed me to establish a professional profile as a bespoke artist who fuses art with interior design projects—specifically in the hospitality design sector—that is unique in its category in Spain. I consider this article a recognition of this work and the construction of a disruptive, different, and innovative proposal.

When a professional develops a unique profile in a sector, it is not easy to be recognized, as there is no established category for the work they perform. It is common for their work to end up being miscategorized or confused with similar services. That is why what I value most about articles like this is the opportunity for my profile to be known for what it is: for its idiosyncrasy and unique characteristics in spatial storytelling.

Society is transforming into an experiential model; people no longer seek merely to contemplate, but to feel they are living an experience firsthand. In this context, the new vision transforming the most innovative hospitality design sector escapes the traditional limits of simple decoration, creating immersive experiences and theming with meaning. This is where I contribute my value proposition, and this is where I feel part of a revolutionary and transformative movement.

I am grateful for the review and the opportunity to give visibility to my work from a space as relevant to the sector as HOTEL DESIGN Proyecto Contract.
