Nhow Frankfurt Hotel Suites

Located in the iconic Tower One within the city’s financial district, the 4-star Nhow Frankfurt Hotel blends the interior design of the renowned studio Rafael De La Hoz with my visual storytelling works — art and design pieces that convey a compelling narrative to the viewer.

The Art of Money

The nhow Frankfurt needed a spatial identity with a character of its own: provocative, urban, and culturally relevant. Money —as a universal symbol of power, desire, and contradiction— became the conceptual backbone that ties together the hotel's entire visual experience.

Visual artworks created with digital tools, printed on premium materials, and installed across the architectural spaces of 375 rooms at the nhow hotel in Frankfurt.

THE MONEY CIRCUS

“The financial world is a grand circus.” This idea serves as the conceptual foundation for the artworks created for the hotel’s Standard Rooms. Using real banknotes as the visual core, the series imagines a stage where the figures printed on currency come to life, starring in a surreal performance of power, illusion, and spectacle.
Each room reflects a different currency —Pound, Dollar, and Euro— forming three interrelated compositions that act as rings of the same global circus. Playful yet critical, the works invite the viewer to step inside this symbolic performance of money.

POUND STERLING ROOMS

Queen Elizabeth II, portrayed on the British pound banknotes, takes center stage in this circus ring — performing a surreal act as she juggles the gold reserves of the Bank of England.

EURO ROOMS

Karl Marx, once featured on the East German mark banknotes, takes the spotlight in this circus ring — wielding flaming batons as he lights a cigar rolled from banknotes.

DOLLAR ROOMS

Benjamin Franklin, the face of the 100-dollar bill, stars in this circus ring — pulling a rabbit from his top hat, much like the U.S. Federal Reserve conjures its debt and the illusion of currency value.

NHOW SUITE + VIP LOUNGE ACCESS

THE WORLDWIDE CASINO

This visual storytelling takes shape through a striking composition of three interconnected artworks. Rich in symbolism, this piece —surreal, sarcastic, and iconographic in nature— reflects on how global financial powers, embodied by the “Three Wise Monkeys,” roll the dice with the fate of entire nations, using debt and currency value as instruments of control.
Influenced by urban art, both the visual language and the tone convey a vibrant, critical energy that amplifies the conceptual depth of the work.

NHOW PENTHOUSE UPPER FLOOR + VIP LOUNGE

THE ECONOMIC POWERS

The Penthouse Suite, with panoramic views and a VIP lounge, is a space where luxury, scale, and detail evoke an aura of power and sophistication infused with nhow’s signature vibrant spirit.

The visual narrative designed for this space explores the concept of economic power: the rivalry between the world’s two dominant financial forces, China and the United States, through a symbolic and urban aesthetic.
