Nhow Frankfurt Hotel Brunch

The Art of Banknotes

Due to the architectural configuration of the restaurant walls — segmented by vertical interruptions and partially covered by interior design elements — the six horizontal artworks created for this space can only be viewed fragmentarily. Despite this limitation, the installation stands as one of the most iconic and conceptually symbolic proposals within the hotel.

Under the title *“The Art of Banknotes”*, the work pays homage to the timeless artistry behind paper currency. The series of six pieces envisions a fictional currency, the *Nhow*, issued by the imaginary *Bank of Nhowland*. Each composition blends surrealist and Pop Art influences, transforming historical figures into bold, irreverent protagonists set within symbolic universes of color and form.

Every “banknote” is unique, with no recurring motifs shared among them. The color palette aligns with the nhow brand identity, reinforcing the idea of a currency intrinsically tied to the hotel’s creative and visionary spirit.
