Nhow Brussels Bloom

Located in Brussels’ Botanique district, Nhow Brussels Bloom hotel occupies a building originally constructed in the 1970s. Once one of the city’s most exclusive hotels — a favorite among international stars — it has been reimagined by the nhow brand as a vibrant space that overflows with art and celebrates creativity in all its forms.

VISUAL IDENTITY SYSTEM FOR HOTEL

Artist Atelier

THE CHALLENGE

nhow Brussels Bloom needed an art system that would bring the nhow brand’s creative identity to its 305 rooms and suites, reimagining a 1970s building in the Botanique neighbourhood as a landmark cultural and artistic destination in Brussels.

THE STRATEGY

I designed a system of visual compositions under the concept of Artist Atelier: paint splatters evoking the spontaneous energy of an artist’s studio, built upon a palette of primary colours — cyan, yellow, and magenta — and the brand’s corporate purple, turning each room into a canvas with its own identity. What at first glance appears to be visual chaos reveals, on closer inspection, a surrealist harmony that embodies passion, movement, and expressive freedom.

These compositions were printed and installed across all surfaces of the spaces, furniture, and fixtures in both suites and rooms.

The visual system developed for the space was integrated as the foundation of the hotel’s identity language, extending to its print and digital brand communication and social media strategy.
