Diseño de composiciones para los suelos del lobby

nhow is an international hotel chain belonging to NH Hotels based on a disruptive concept in which each hotel is in itself a unique work of Art, with architecture and interior design taken care of in every detail along with an innovative design based on large murals dimensions that provide the spaces with an environment in which creativity and inspiration flow in each wall.
nhow Amsterdam RAI is a 4-star hotel located next to the Amsterdam RAI Convention Center whose creative concept is based on the mixture of the different cultures of the world.
As a freelance collaborator for the architecture studio GLG Architects, I designed large compositions to cover the floors of some hotel’s public areas. These were printed and mounted under a layer of resin.

DESIGN OF COMPOSITIONS FOR LOBBY FLOORS

The pieces that I have created for the floors propose to experience the sensation of walking on a lake of surreal vision in which giant fishes swim among a maremagnum of flowers and African dishes.
1. Composition for a lobby floor that represents a hodgepodge between the Mexican and Japanese cultures: Giant Japanese carps swim among a sea of Mexican flowers and Japanese umbrellas in a work full of color and nuance.
* The column showed on the first 2 pictures is the one of the Lobby: davidzuker.com/english/portfolio/nhow-amsterdam-lobby/
** The wall that is partially shown on the thirs picture is the one of the giant catrinas: davidzuker.com/portfolio/nhow-amsterdam-bar
2. The composition for the second floor of the lobby is inspired by the cultural richness of Africa and its craftsmanship, showing its timeless beauty through a heterogeneous range of typical African dishes dotted by giant fishes that swim among them over a bed of marine vegetation.
