Beauty Art Direction Global Display Campaign

THE CHALLENGE

Bringing the “chic” spirit of Paris to the digital world

The challenge for Bourjois Paris was to roll out its display and digital advertising campaigns in the Spanish market. The strategic challenge was twofold: to preserve the brand’s heritage—rooted in joy, colour and Parisian chic—within compact advertising formats, whilst ensuring that the brand’s sophistication was not lost in the mass production of performance-driven assets.

THE STRATEGY

“High-End Performance” (Aesthetics and Results)

I approached the campaign from a Strategic Beauty Design perspective, with each banner designed to function as a micro-piece of fashion editorial. The strategy was based on three pillars:

Colour Accuracy and Image Processing: The cosmetics industry demands absolute accuracy in product shades. I carried out a comprehensive image processing process to ensure that Bourjois’ colours stand out clearly and attractively on any device, thereby maximising the urge to buy immediately.

Premium Visual Hierarchy: Designing clean, elegant layouts that prioritise the product and its benefits, using the brand’s iconic typography to establish authority and instant recognition in crowded online environments.

Modularity and Adaptability (Campaign Rollout): Creation of a scalable asset system that enabled the campaign to be adapted to a wide variety of formats (banners, stories, skins), whilst maintaining visual consistency throughout the conversion funnel.
